The Roommate
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
You get a big promotion and move to Seattle where a friend offers you the use of an apartment.
However, he'd previously told a young woman from your company that she could stay there, and your arrival means she could end up homeless.
But if you don't mind sharing, you'll get to know the beautiful and enigmatic Kari.
The Roomate is meant to be somewhat less "linear" than many other games, and there are factors outside a player's control that may affect the path the story takes.
The latest update (version 0.7.2) is a further expansion compared to previous versions, expanding the story to Week Seven of game time (and Week Eight, kind of).

I got to a point where I kissed Kari, and then I'm given three choices, and ALL of them are to shut down the relationship! WTH? How can this be right? Is it just that the relationship for her hasn't been created yet?

How come I have to start a NEW game, every time there is a update? "I'm in about 42 days, when the update came out. Why won't the saves work?
The game is incredible. Graphics, mechanics and Charakters are extraordinary! I'am interestid of how the Story goes on!

Hey Togs, I have just finished playing the new update 07.1 got the download on svscomics.com, it a couple of kinks but other than that it was good and it's getting really kinky but i like it, anyway this is going to sound like a broken record but i really want to see more off Mallory, take her out to dinner and a nightclub things like that and of course end up in bed instead of that milk extractor, keep up the good work Togs, i look forward to the next update ..

Yes - there’s a pre-release build out with a small group of testers, and I think I’m homing in on the final adjustments.

Hey Togs , when is the next update coming , i can hardly wait to play it and see all the girls :) and i also hope to see a lot more of Mallory, i liked that there were more interaction with here in 6.6 and not just the milking scenes, she has gotten under my skin so to speak ;) I really like this game , keep up the good work togs.

Work on the next version is well underway.
In the fifth week we see the MC officially take up his role as CEO, and the new receptionists will start work.
You’ll have opportunities to spend more time with Ashley and Mallory, and Kari, of course!
You and Lois will dig further into the goings-on at Greenfield Genetics, and you’ll need to deal with the other girls Randy was blackmailing.
So lots to come, I’m hoping to release it by the end of November!
The worse part of the game is having to watch the MC masturbating - and if you skip this it's game over. Please, remove it, otherwise it's a very good game.
Oh, and my favourite is the stewardess Tiffany/Tilly. I could definitely fall in love with her. Hope there will be more of her.

This update was really just for bug fixes and to make the menus easier for the hiring of receptionists.

It sucks when bugs come up,,,, Yea i have and feel sorry for Mallory , want to do right by her :), and she is also Gorgeous and have an amazing body and the way you have made her she seems so sweet and nice, def want to see more of her, and i did choose her to work as a secretary, that uncle of MC was not very nice it seems ,,, Actually all the girls in the game are very nice And Kari wow what a knockout, you do great work togs i can hardly wait for the next version/Update but it is kind of hard when you just wanna keep on playing i know it takes time so i just have to be patient and wait, some games are just addictive you know what i mean right, money is a little tight right now but i will support your work when i get my next paycheck take care and keep up the good work :)
Sorry, I do understand the frustration of having to wait for the next version, hopefully I can find more efficient ways to work. It’s still a learning curve!

The codes are for debugging purposes, and using them for general gameplay would definitely break things.
I’m 95% sure I did post them on the F95Zone thread at one point.
But make sure you save first if you do experiment with them.
Is there a code to enter to play the game, because it has a spot for enter code on the menu page?

I love this game, I like Kari she is really gorgeous i also would love to see a lot more interactions with Mallory in div sexy outfits and lingerie, the other girls are also beautiful, i can hardly wait for the next release.

Do you mean that you can't decide who to choose, or you're having trouble with the actual mechanics of the game?
I have been following this game for a little while and it remains a very promising avn. I can see that there have been many improvements and additions to this version of the AVN since the last one. So Toggs - Keep up the good work - Well done!
I was disappointed, however, (and it is not meant as a criticism) because I wanted to see what happened next and this version did not progress beyond that of v3 (that is, it still ended when Kari propositioned MC at the bedroom door). Unfortunately, v4 didn't go beyond this either. Oh well! I will look forward to the next version to see how the story progresses.

Hi, yes, things got stretched out a little and the end scene from last time got pushed. However, there's an update coming in the day or so that fixes a couple of bugs and the closing scene you mentioned is taken to its climax (I'm sure you know what I mean).
Yes, This version was a great improvement and the storyline filled out more. Which was good. Awesome glad we get to see the story progress to a climax :) lol! Keep up the good work!

Greatly enjoyed 0.4; fascinating story development and refreshing not to see sex everywhere. Love the characters, the tension and the choice you can make.
Just a quick question: I anticipate that it would take a lot of work, but are you planning [someday] on giving the MC -and others characters- some more facial expressions on their character portrait (that shows who is talking). Right now the MC's portrait look a bit too static.
Otherwise: great fun! Feels like any adult content will serve the story -not the other way around.
I'm glad you're enjoying it. Unfortunately, a number of bugs have been found, and so there will be a point release to fix those and any others that come up (people usually find them all within the first three or four days). One of the difficulties of being the sole developer is that it can be hard to find your own mistakes!
There will be more expressions for other characters, or at least those who play any significant part in the story.
But I'm not sure about the main character - I wanted to keep him very generic and keep the focus on the people he is talking to. It's not like you see yourself when you talk, if you know what I mean, and giving him expressions seems like I'm telling you how you're supposed to feel.
I've seen other games where the MC's head is always out of frame, and I don't feel like that works either.
So the short answer is that I haven't decided yet!
There will, of course, be plenty of sex as things develop! :)

Version 0.3 is ready. Unfortunately, the file size exceeds itch.io's normal limit, so I've put in download links to mega.nz for the moment.
But it's a huge expansion on the previous versions - three weeks of gameplay (it was only the first week before) and things get seriously interesting in week 3. Or, at least, I think so.

Nice to know it's still being worked on; sorry to hear about your hectic workload, but some things in life take precedence over stuff like game development in your free time; priorities and all.

Here's version 0.2, please check the readme file, because lots has changed, partly to pave the way for 0.3. You should delete the old version and start over, but from here it should be possible to transition from one build to the next without losing your progress. I hope you enjoy it!
checked it out i saw some minor changes but overall gameplay wise it was still the same untill the ending with the 3 new renders showing a sneakpeak into the story line. Sounded promising
